Founded in 2006 in Chesham by Joseph O’Connor, JK Rail has grown from a small local business into a nationwide multi-million-pound contractor delivering critical services across the UK’s infrastructure sector.
From the very beginning, our mission has been clear: to provide safe, reliable, and innovative solutions that keep Britain’s railways and infrastructure moving. Starting with early collaborations in rail maintenance, we quickly built a reputation for quality, trust, and long-term partnerships - values that continue to drive us nearly two decades later.
Today, JK Rail specialises in rail maintenance, civil engineering, fencing, fabrication, and vegetation management, with an annual turnover exceeding £3 million and a client base that includes some of the UK’s most recognisable names.
